somehow you realize that it's so much easier to fight something you can see. something tangible. something that is out there in the open. something that has a presence. something that is spoken of. something that is written down. rather than fight something that you cannot see. something rumoured. something that is present only in murmurs. something present in your mind. something lurking. something that may or may not be present simply because of its intangibility.

when everything's out just like the rays of sunlight, it becomes easier to confront the things you don't want to. the facts. the words. but that may be in part due to the fact that it becomes easier to avoid them. it requires less effort to focus on other things, to trivalize, to box them up and hide the box somewhere no one can find it, to convince yourself that you cannot see them and therefore those are not there anymore.
