geneva 21st march
woke up early and took the morning train to geneva. the train ride where we can see the lake is drop dead gorgeous. it makes ur heart skip not a beat but a few beats. the weather was bright and sunny and great for looking around! just that the wind in geneva is like OH-MY-GOD-IT'S-BLOWING-ME-INTO-THE-WATER. yeah damn strong. but the city is so so so so beautiful..even though they're not exactly friendly when u don't speak french..just like the french people..but the city is just so nice. we met louis, lea's friend, first to pass him our luggage since we're staying over at his place for the night. then we decided to visit the old city first before meeting laure, another of lea's friend, and then louis will show us around the international part of geneva since it is home to like 1 million international organization headquarters or something.

we went to meet laure and had lunch first since we were famished after hours of walking around. then laure brought us to the "italian" part of geneva..where it used to be a part of italy, where there really was a border, and not the city of geneva. but somehow it now belonged to geneva. i forgot the reason why. but anyways it's really really really pretty. and it's called carouge.

the place we decided upon
